I m where I wanted to be...

2008 feb11....Joined deloitte as business valuation associate.... the domain i dreamt for .. i planned for....loadz of excitements and tons of new learnings.....but with a pinch of hard feeling ..... working in the backoffice....
initial days i found bit difficlut to accostomed myself with MNC culture...again the workprofile.... bit different from my expectation... one thing these mncs are very gud at is packaging... they package some rotten stuff in some hyper definitive material.... and sell them as it was the only best material in the market... remember U.S. subprime crisis and the concept CDOs..... same thing happened with me... they dint feel any shame to presesnt somekind of drawings act as checking mathematics or "math check"...if a mathematician will hear .. he will die of shame....the person who loves number crunching started hating maths....But I sensed some scope in this.... scope of working on some gud projects.......learning some of major valuation concepts.. which would not be possible in Indian companies... One good thing about these MNCs is that they are very structured... everything is in place....
I took around six months to understand the organisation and the work..... then I knew if I need to build a niche for me in the organiztn then obviously i need to choose an area where no one is working .....Debt valuation was an instant answer...... becuase with subprimse crisis... debt valuation and distressed debt valuation works on all time high and there are rarely any practitioner who kneew how to value them....
I slogged for an year to understnad it... becuase debt val is one of the gray areas in valuation.. very few people know it....over the year i manageed and executed some good projects... that to end to end... my effort to convert hyd office from back end to smart end started showing some gud sign....we started getting projects... around 90 percent works executed in India offie.. no more hard feeling of back office...I build some gud rappo in the field, which helped me to bring some projects here.....I am enjoying my work... i can see things happeing which i dreamt for...I am branded for my debt valuation skills.... People in U.S and India office know me for debt valuation....

Now i am on search for doing some thing new... some thing different... some thing like an OUTLIER....
